You’ll never guess who won $250,000 in Fort Mill

COLUMBIA, SC (August 17, 2016) – A lottery winner in Fort Mill is keeping a $250,000 secret.

The Country Store on Gold Hill Rd. in Fort Mill sold the winning $250,000 Jackpot scratch-off to a local man who declined to be identified.

“I love playing the Lottery,” he told lottery officials while awaiting his prize money.

As of this release, one top prize of $250,000 remains in the ($10) $250,000 Jackpot game. The odds of winning $250,000 are 1 in 696,000.

For selling the claimed ticket, Country Store in Fort Mill received a commission of $2,500.
