COLUMBIA, SC (August 1, 2016) – A Hemingway woman will take a moment to enjoy her $250,000 lottery win and then it’s back to work.

“Life goes on,” she said.

The winner told lottery officials she rarely plays the Lottery, but took a chance on a $10 Cash Reserve scratch-off at Betty’s Quick Stop on N. Main St. in Hemingway.

“I’m usually not that lucky,” she said.

She’d just got off work when she scratched off the payday. “And I’ll be back at work tomorrow,” she said.

As of this release, three top prizes of $250,000 remain in the $10 Cash Reserve game. The odds of winning $250,000 are 1 in 696,000.

For selling the claimed ticket, Betty’s Quick Stop in Hemingway received a commission of $2,500.
