6/15/2016 9:04:30 AM

COLUMBIA, SC (June 15, 2016) A Sumter man had a dream he was going to win the Lottery, and his dream came true.

Yesterday he cashed in a winning $10 ticket worth $250,000 that he purchased from the Sumter Stop on S. Guignard Dr.

I almost didnt buy it, the winner admitted. I walked out of the store and turned around and went back for it.

The last minute decision to buy the $500 Frenzy scratch-off is allowing him to help his parents and start planning for the future. But first, hes going to get a little shut eye.

Im going to the bank and then home to sleep, the winner said.

Sweet dreams.

As of this release, four top prizes of $250,000 remain in the $500 Frenzy game. The odds of winning $250,000 are 1 in 696,000.

For selling the claimed ticket, Sumter Stop in Sumter received a commission of $2,500.
