The winner says he stopped for gas and a Palmetto Cash 5 ticket at the Siri LLC on Hwy. 501 in Aynor. His ticket was good for two draws. That night he won $4. The next night he won $200,000.

I didnt think it was real, he said having matched all five numbers drawn on Friday, May 27 (1, 9, 21, 34 and 38). I didnt think it could happen to me.

In addition to helping his granddaughter pay for school, hes also helping his other granddaughter with her tuition. As for the grandfather, he wants to give to his church and enjoy being debt free.

The odds of winning $200,000 playing Palmetto Cash 5 are 1 in 1,003,884.

For selling the claimed ticket, Siri LLC in Aynor received a commission of $2,000.
