Key to a New House and Car in Georgetown Lottery Winner’s Future
5/9/2016 2:50:11 PM

COLUMBIA, SC (May 9, 2016) – Keys to a new house and a new car will be in the hands of a Georgetown lottery winner who won $250,000 last week.

The winner did not release her name, but says she’s looking forward to owning a new home and car after she scratched off the quarter-million-dollar win sitting in her current car parked outside of her home. She says she sat in the driver’s seat for two hours holding on to the winning $250,000 Jackpot ticket.

“I’m still a nervous wreck,” she admitted when she cashed in the ticket. “The check won’t change that.”

As of this release, two top prizes of $250,000 remain in the ($10) $250,000 Jackpot game. The odds of winning $250,000 are 1 in 696,000.

For selling the claimed ticket, H & S Self Serve in Georgetown received a commission of $2,500.
