Lottery Winner Planning a Proposal

COLUMBIA, SC (March 29, 2016) An Aiken lottery winner is asking his girlfriend to marry him.

He cashed in a $250,000 winning ticket yesterday and is off to buy an engagement ring.

The proposal will be a surprise.

My heart dropped when I won the cash, he said. And hes hoping for a similar reaction when his girlfriend sees the ring.

As of this release, three top prizes of $250,000 remain in the $10 Quarter Million Dollar Cashfall game. The odds of winning $250,000 are 1 in 696,000.

For selling the claimed ticket, Mo Convenience and Tobacco Store in Beech Island received a commission of $2,500.
