Aiken Couple to Start Married Life with $250,000 Win

COLUMBIA, SC (February 2, 2016) – An Aiken couple will say their I do’s in a couple of weeks, starting their new life together with a $250,000 lottery win.

“Baby, you don’t have to worry about anything,” the groom said after he bought a winning Topaz 10s ticket at the Ridge Crest Quick Shop on Pipeline Rd. in Aiken and scratched it sitting at the kitchen table.

The bride says her face flushed and she almost passed out when she found out.

The couple that met on Valentine’s Day says February is their lucky month.

The quarter-of-a-million dollar win will go towards the couple’s first home as husband and wife.

One top prize of $250,000 remains in the $10 Topaz 10s game, at odds of 1 in 696,000.

For selling the claimed ticket, Ridge Crest Quick Shop in Aiken received a commission of $2,500.
