Lady Luck Lives in Cowpens

COLUMBIA, SC (January 27, 2016) – One lucky lady lives in Cowpens.

Her resume includes several $500 lottery wins, a few $1,000 wins, one $25,000 win and now a $250,000 payday.

“It was like Christmas,” she said, describing the feeling of scratching off a quarter-of-a-million dollar prize sitting in her car outside the Lil Cricket on the Chesnee Hwy this week.

And she’s gifting herself a new roof, a new car, and a trip to Harrah’s.

“I’m going to have fun,” she promised.

That was the last top prize of $250,000 in the Diamond 9s game, at odds of 1 in 696,000.

For selling the claimed ticket, Lil Cricket 3854 in Chesnee received a commission of $2,500.
