Lottery Winner Stuffs a Stocking with $10,000

COLUMBIA, SC (December 23, 2015) – A Hardeeville lottery winner can’t wait to see the look on his daughter’s face when she finds a check for $10,000 in her stocking on Christmas morning.

As for the rest of Dad’s $100,000 lottery win, he’s saving it.

He won the cash off a lottery ticket from Shree Ram Food Mart Inc. on Whyte Hardee Blvd. in Hardeeville. He says he came home, had dinner with his wife, watched a little television, and while laying out his clothes for church spotted the Queen of Hearts ticket on his dresser.

He took a blood pressure pill after he scratched off a six-figure payday.

“Wow!” he said, guessing what his daughter’s reaction will be.

Three top prizes of $100,000 remain in the $5 Queen of Hearts game, at odds of 1 in 480,000.

For selling the claimed ticket, Shree Ram Food Mart Inc. in Hardeeville received a commission of $1,000.
