Fort Mill Lottery Winner Plans to Start His Own Business
12/10/2015 11:02:18 AM

COLUMBIA, SC (December 10, 2015) – A Fort Mill man wouldn’t have bought the lottery ticket that won him $250,000 if a clerk at the Nick Mart on S. Heckle Blvd. in Rock Hill hadn’t suggested he give the $250,000 Payday ticket a try.

“It’s a big life changer,” the winner said when he cashed in the winning ticket in Columbia.

Now he says he can do something he’s wanted to do for some time, and that’s start his own business.

“I’m glad I bought the ticket,” he said.

Four top prizes of $250,000 remain in the $250,000 Payday game, at odds of 1 in 696,000.

For selling the claimed ticket, Nick Mart in Rock Hill received a commission of $2,500.
