Back-to-Back Jackpot Drawings at Over $100 MILLION!

COLUMBIA, SC (November 27, 2015) – For the next two nights, Mega Millions® and Powerball® stand to make someone a millionaire 100 times over. Tonight’s Mega Millions® jackpot drawing is for $117 million. Tomorrow night’s Powerball® draw is for $110 million.

But up first, Mega Millions® draws tonight at 11.

Tickets are $1 and must be purchased by 10 p.m. South Carolina has yet to produce a Mega Millions® jackpot win. For that to happen, the winner must overcome odds of 1 in about 259 million and can choose between a cash option of $73 million or an annuity worth $117 million.

For $2, players can try their luck at Wednesday’s $110 million Powerball® jackpot with a cash value of $69 million. Our state has sold seven Powerball® jackpot winning tickets. The odds of winning it all are long at about 1 in 293 million.

“It only takes one ticket to win, and your odds are the same if you buy just one ticket or several,” reminds the Lottery’s Executive Director Paula Harper Bethea. “So, please, above all else play responsibly.”
