Rock Hill Man Surprises Wife with $100,000 Lottery Win
10/9/2015 9:11:37 AM

COLUMBIA, SC (October 9, 2015) – A Rock Hill husband has a surprise for this wife when she gets home.

“It’s going to shock her,” he suspects.

He knows, because the $100,000 lottery win had a similar effect on him.

“I was shaking. I was sweating. And I was shouting,” he said describing the moment he won.

Without his wife knowing, he drove from Rock Hill to Columbia to collect the prize money he won off a $5 Pure Gold scratch-off he purchased from the Lam Mart LLC on Old York Rd. in Chester.

“We’ll have a major Christmas,” he said.

Four top prizes of $100,000 remain in the $5 Pure Gold game, at odds of 1 in 480,000.

For selling the claimed ticket, Lam Mart LLC in Chester received a commission of $1,000.
