Lexington Man Says Lottery Win “Changed My Life”
8/4/2015 1:14:32 PM

COLUMBIA, SC (August 5, 2015) – A Lexington lottery winner didn’t win a multi-million dollar jackpot, but you wouldn’t know it from talking to him.

“The win changed my life,” he said.

Two weeks ago he came home with grocery bags and a $200,000 Taxes Paid winning ticket between his teeth. His wife pulled the ticket from his mouth, and his first words were, “I think I won a little money.”

What he had was a $200,000 win on a ticket where the Lottery pays the taxes.

“I’m living comfortably,” he said. “And that’s a great thing.”

One top prize of $200,000 remains in the $200,000 Taxes Paid game. Odds of winning $200,000 are 1 in 696,000.

For selling the claimed ticket, Coopers Corner #115 in Lexington received a commission of $2,941.18.
