6/24/2015 2:32:53 PM

COLUMBIA, SC (June 24, 2015) – A North Charleston woman is celebrating a $10,000 lottery win with a girls weekend.

A few of the ladies invited traveled with her to Columbia to collect the prize.

“She deserves this,” the ladies agreed.

Instead of throwing away non-winning $1 or $2 scratch-offs, she entered the tickets online in the Lottery’s monthly Instant Replay Drawing.

“What could it hurt?” she explained.

Four other players won cash prizes and an additional 420 players won points redeemable for merchandise in the June 17 drawing.

The North Charleston winner has also won points in prior drawings that she’s redeemed for cookware, a deep fryer and a flat screen TV.

The Lottery’s next Instant Replay drawing is planned for July 22. A $100,000 cash drawing is planned for September 2015. The odds of winning depend on the number of entries received.
