Greenville Lottery Winner Taking a Test Drive

COLUMBIA, SC (June 4, 2015) A Greenville woman who won $100,000 playing the South Carolina Education Lottery last week is taking her husband to look at new cars today.

He didnt believe me when I told him I won, the wife said.

But he came around when she started paying off their bills with her winnings from a lottery ticket purchased at the VGO Mart 2 on Augusta Rd. in Greenville.

I went in the store for a soda, she explained, when a $5 Pay Me! ticket caught her eye.

She scratched off the $100,000 prize sitting alone in her decade old car outside the convenience store.

Im at ease now, she said excited about her test drive.

Three top prizes of $100,000 remain in the Pay Me! game. Odds of winning $100,000 are 1 in 480,000.

For selling the claimed ticket, VGO Mart 2 in Greenville received a commission of $1,000.
