COLUMBIA, SC (April 8, 2015) An Aiken man waited until spring to cash in a $200,000 lottery prize won this winter.

And thats not all hes put off.

I havent told my family yet, he confessed.

But he has given generously to his church.

I was blessed, he said of his win on a Grand Reserve scratch-off bought back in February at the Kangaroo Express #3243 on Richland Ave. in Aiken.

He told lottery officials he was watching a basketball game, he cant remember who was playing, but at halftime he scratched the ticket.

I just got lucky, he said of the victory.

The Aiken winner claimed the last top prize of $200,000 in the Grand Reserve game. Odds of winning $200,000 are 1 in 600,000.

For selling the claimed ticket, Kangaroo Express #3243 in Aiken received a commission of $2,000.
