Lucky for Life Tickets on Sale Now

COLUMBIA, SC (January 27, 2015) – If you’re interested in winning $1,000 a day for life, then the South Carolina Education Lottery has a new game just for you.

Lucky for Life tickets go on sale starting today.

For $2, you can join players in 14 other states looking to win lifetime prizes.

In addition to the top prize, $1,000 a day for life, players can also win $25,000 a year for life. The “for life” prizes are payable for the length of the winners natural life, with payments guaranteed for a minimum of 20 years. Not interested in the annuity, winners can take a lump sum payout instead.

As for the game, it’s simple.

To play Lucky for Life, either pick six numbers or quick pick them. Then look for the drawing results on Mondays and Thursdays.

As for the odds, they are better than Powerball®.

In a head-to-head comparison, the odds of winning $1,000 a day for life playing Lucky for Life are about 1 in 30.8 million. Your odds of winning a Powerball® jackpot are about 1 in 176 million.

South Carolina is the only state around selling Lucky for Life tickets that are available at most convenience stores and grocery stores.
