Florence Man’s Dream of a Lottery Win Comes True
1/23/2015 11:44:59 AM

COLUMBIA, SC (January 23, 2015) – A Florence man dreamed he won $20,000 and his wife won $20 million. Half of that dream came true this week.

Instead of throwing away non-winning $1 and $2 scratch-offs, Stanley Bobbitt enters his online in the Lottery’s monthly Instant Replay Drawings using the free SC Lottery App. Wednesday a losing ticket won him $20,000.

“I’d like to do something nice for my wife,” Bobbitt said.

As for the rest of his dream, tonight’s Mega Millions® jackpot is $20 million.

Four other players won cash prizes and an additional 420 players won points redeemable for merchandise in the January 21 drawing. The Lottery’s next Instant Replay drawing is planned for February 18. A $100,000 cash drawing is planned for September 2015.

The odds of winning a prize in the Instant Replay promotion depends on the number of entries received for each drawing.
