COLUMBIA, SC (December 3, 2014) – Alexis Black is in the market for a new home since winning $200,000 in the South Carolina Education Lottery.

The Langley mother of four won on the $10 Bring on the Ben’s scratch-off her husband picked out.

“I’m proud,” he said of his wife’s win. “I can’t keep it quiet.”

But his wife can keep a secret.

She didn’t tell anyone at Horse Creek Academy in Aiken where she works as an office manager that on her way in to work one morning she won the Lottery. And she didn’t mention that her husband was so excited he took off running out of the store.

“I’m more reserved,” she said. “We balance each other out.”

As of this release, three top prizes of $200,000 remain in the Bring on the Bens game. The odds of winning $200,000 are 1 in 600,000.

For selling the claimed ticket, Kangaroo Express #3251 in Warrenville received a $2,000 commission.
