COLUMBIA, SC (August 1, 2014) – A Charleston 19-year-old won $200,000 her first time playing the Lottery.

“And I’m going shopping,” she said.

Her lists of wants included a new car, a manicure and pedicure, dinner with friends, and another lottery ticket.

Like the first ticket, her next one will probably come from the Sunfly Convenience Store on Durant Ave. in North Charleston. The young winner says she was line with a bag of chips when she saw a guy scratching a lottery ticket. So, she decided to try her luck and buy her first.

She called her mom screaming she won.

“Why are you so lucky?” her mom asked.

“It was just a good day,” the teen said.

As of this release, three top prizes of $200,000 remain in the Money Maker game. The odds of winning $200,000 are 1 in 500,000.

For selling the claimed ticket, Sunfly Convenience Store in North Charleston received a commission of $2,000.
