A Month Later $300,000 Ticket Sold in North Augusta Remains Unclaimed

COLUMBIA, SC (October 29, 2013) – A $300,000 lottery prize awaits some lucky person who played Palmetto Cash 5 in North Augusta a month ago.

Greg’s Gas Plus 13 at 1295 W. Martintown Rd. in North Augusta sold the winning ticket for the Saturday, September 28 drawing to an as yet unknown player.

The mystery man or woman correctly matched all five winning numbers – 1, 4, 5, 13 and 19 – and “Powered-Up” for an extra $1 to see the would be $100,000 prize tripled to $300,000 when a “3” multiplier was selected.

The odds of winning $300,000 playing Palmetto Cash 5 are about 1 in 1.6 million.

The winner has 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim the $300,000 prize. If not claimed in time, the prize money will support education in South Carolina. Last year, $12.4 million in prize money went unclaimed, with much of the funds used to purchase new school buses.
