COLUMBIA, SC (March 13, 2013) – So far, a North Charleston woman has spent her lottery winnings on others.

She’s helped her mother, sister, church and neighbors with the $100,000 she won on a $5 Winning Streak scratch-off purchased from the Food Lion on Dorchester Rd.

“I can’t think of anything I want,” confessed the winner. “But when I see something I like, I’ll buy it.”

As of this release, five top prizes of $100,000 remain in the $5 Winning Streak game. Odds of winning the top prize are 1 in 400,000.

For selling the claimed ticket, Food Lion #1444 in North Charleston received a commission of $1,000.

To date, lottery play has resulted in $3 BILLION transferred to support education.
