COLUMBIA, SC (December 19, 2012) – A month later and no one has stepped forward to claim a $100,000 Palmetto Cash 5 ticket sold in Hardeeville.
The winning ticket was purchased from BoBops #13 at 3551 S. Okatie Hwy. in Hardeeville for the Saturday, November 17 drawing.
The Palmetto Cash 5 ticket in question matched all five numbers drawn (1, 15, 16, 21, and 33 Power-Up: 2). Had the ticket holder “Powered-Up” for an additional $1, the $100,000 top prize would have doubled to $200,000.
The winner has until Thursday, May 16 to claim the prize. Players in the Hardeeville area are urged to check their tickets and if found, the winner should immediately sign the back of the winning ticket and secure it in a safe location.

The odds of winning $100,000 playing Palmetto Cash 5 are 1 in 501,942.
If a winner does not come forward, the prize will be used to support education in South Carolina.
Proceeds from every dollar spent by players on the South Carolina Education Lottery are returned to the state in the form of funding for education, prizes, retailer commissions, and payment to contractors for goods and services.
