COLUMBIA, SC (September 19, 2012) – Remember the historic, record-setting $656 million Mega Millions® jackpot from earlier this year? Time is running out to claim three Mega Millions® tickets sold for that drawing worth $10,000 each. The winning tickets were sold in Charleston, Gaffney and Sumter.
The March 30 Mega Millions® jackpot drew national attention and produced one $250,000 winner, two $30,000 winners and seven $10,000 winners in our state. More than 200,000 winning tickets were sold by the South Carolina Education Lottery for the drawing.
If you purchased a Mega Millions® ticket from Northbridge Exxon at 1140 Sam Rittenberg Blvd. in Charleston, the Kangaroo Express #3406 at 100 Shelby Hwy. in Gaffney, or the Citgo at 4650 Broad St. in Sumter this past March, you should check your tickets.
The tickets purchased for the March 30 drawing are worth $10,000 and must be claimed no later than Wednesday, September 26. The tickets matched four white ball numbers and the gold Megaball® number.

The winning tickets must be claimed at the Columbia Claims Center before 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday, September 26.
If the prizes are not claimed, the winnings will be deposited in the Education Lottery Account to support educational programs in South Carolina.
