COLUMBIA, SC (August 27, 2012) – A Summerville husband is done lecturing his wife on her odds of winning the Lottery.
“I had to eat my words,” he admitted, when she came home with a scratch-off worth $200,000.
Surprised by the win they decided to mull things over for a week before claiming the prize.
“I still don’t believe it,” said the wife waiting on the check. “We realize we can’t quit our jobs but this makes life easier.”
The couple is buying a house.
“I’ve been looking at houses online all week,” confessed the husband.
The odds of winning $200,000 playing $10 Super Cash are 1 in 576,000. As of this release, three top prizes of $200,000 remain in the game.
For selling the claimed ticket, Kangaroo Express #3883 in Ladson received a commission of $2,000.
