COLUMBIA, SC (February 24, 2012) – Dee Martin and her husband are going to see the world.

A $100,000 lottery win is their ticket.

Martin scratched the winning card seated next to her husband who was driving home.

“She cried a lot,” he said. “We both did.”

The Summerville couple can’t wait for retirement to begin.

“We’re already planning a cruise,” she said.

As of this release, three top prizes of $100,000 remain in the $5 Triple the Money game.

The odds of winning $100,000 are 1 in 432,000.

Kangaroo Express #594 in Summerville received a commission of $1,000 for selling the claimed ticket.

Since the start of the Lottery in 2002, more than one million college scholarships and grants have been awarded to South Carolina’s students. In all, more than $2.6 BILLION has been transferred to support educational programs in the Palmetto State.
