A New Car Tops Mauldin Manís List to Santa

COLUMBIA, SC (December 9, 2011) Ė A Mauldin manís Christmas list grew following a $200,000 lottery win.

Now a car for his wife sits at the top of the list.

He hasnít told his wife about the cash and wonít until he has her gift.

ďIíve just got to figure out how Iím going to surprise her,Ē he said.

Heís done a flawless job averting suspicion so far.

She didnít look in his drawer where he hid the ticket overnight and she didnít ask too many questions when he told her he needed to go with a friend to Columbia. He went to Columbia alright, but the only friend in the car was his Triple Wild Winner scratch-off ticket worth $200,000.

ďMy wife always breaks her neck around the holidays buying gifts for everyone,Ē he said. ďAt least we arenít going in debt this year.Ē

As of this release, three top prizes of $200,000 remain in the $10 Triple Wild Winner game.

The odds of winning $200,000 are 1 in 500,000.

Kangaroo Express #3283 in Greenville received a commission of $2,000 for selling the claimed ticket.

Since the start of the Lottery in 2002, more than one million college scholarships and grants have been awarded to South Carolinaís students. In all, more than $2.6 BILLION has been transferred to support educational programs in the Palmetto State.
