$200,000 Powerball® Ticket Sold in Columbia

COLUMBIA, SC (September 1, 2011) – Are you holding a Powerball® ticket worth $200,000? The ticket was purchased from EZ Food Mart at 3208 Two Notch Rd. in Columbia.

The ticket for the Wednesday, August 31 drawing matched all five white ball numbers drawn.

Had the ticket holder purchased PowerPlay® for an extra $1, the $200,000 winnings would have been multiplied to $1 MILLION. A Match 5 prize with PowerPlay® is an automatic $1 MILLION regardless of the multiplier drawn.

Check your tickets. In Wednesday night’s drawing, more than 14,600 of the South Carolina Education Lottery’s players won prizes from $3 up to $200,000. Of these, 5,425 purchased the PowerPlay® option and will see their non-jackpot winnings multiplied by five when they make their claims. The estimated Powerball® jackpot for Saturday, September 3, 2011, is $91 million.
