$30,000 Powerball® Ticket Sold in Greenville Set to Expire

COLUMBIA, SC (August 4, 2011) – $30,000 is waiting for a South Carolina Education Lottery player, but time is running out.

If you purchased a Powerball® ticket from Hickory Point #27 at 2617 Wade Hampton Blvd. in Greenville this past February, you should check your tickets.

The ticket purchased for the February 23 drawing is worth $30,000 and must be claimed no later than Monday, August 22. The ticket matched four white ball numbers and the red Powerball® number. The ticket holder purchased PowerPlay® to multiply the winnings by the PowerPlay® number drawn.

The winning ticket must be claimed by Monday, August 22, 2011.

If the prize is not claimed, the $30,000 winnings will go to fund education in South Carolina.

Proceeds from every dollar spent by players on the South Carolina Education Lottery are returned to the state in the form of funding for education, prizes, retailer commissions, and payment to contractors for goods and services.
