Monday After the Masters Will Have A Little More Luck This Year

April 7, 2011 (Columbia) – Staff from the South Carolina Education Lottery will be making a first appearance at the Hootie & the Blowfish Monday After the Masters Celebrity Pro‐Am Golf Tournament on Monday, April 11, at the Dye Club at Barefoot Resort in North Myrtle Beach. Visitors to this sold out event will be able to play lottery games and have the chance to win prizes. For every ten dollars in lottery products purchased, players will have the opportunity to spin the wheel to win a fabulous lottery promotional item! So be sure to stop by the Lottery’s tent and say “hello!” The lottery tent will be open from 9 a.m. till 6 p.m.

One of the most popular celebrity pro‐am golf tournaments in the country, the Hootie & the Blowfish Monday After the Masters Celebrity Pro‐Am Golf Tournament, attracts thousands of people who enjoy the music of the two‐time Grammy award winners as well as the friendly competition between the band and their celebrity and PGA professional friends. Over the past 16 years, the Monday After the Masters Tournament has donated more than $4.5 million to the Hootie & the Blowfish Foundation, which supports the educational needs of South Carolina children and the South Carolina Junior Golf Foundation. Tickets to this event are sold out; however, golf fans will be able to visit with lottery staff at this year’s Heritage Golf Tournament at Sea Pines Resort/Harbour Town Golf Links in Hilton Head Island from Thursday, April 21 through Sunday, April 24.
