$200,000 Palmetto Cash 5 Ticket Sold in Dillon

COLUMBIA, SC (April 6, 2011) – Someone is holding a Palmetto Cash 5 ticket worth $200,000. The ticket was purchased from Breaker’s #117 at 700 Hwy. 301 N. in Dillon.

The Palmetto Cash 5 ticket for the Tuesday, April 6 drawing matched all five numbers drawn. The ticket holder purchased Power-Up for an additional $1, to multiply the $100,000 winnings by “2” to $200,000.

More than 4,600 Palmetto Cash 5 players won prizes from $1 up to $200,000 in Tuesday night’s drawing. Of these 2,776 players spent an extra $1 to purchase the Power-Up multiplier. Tuesday night’s Power-Up number was 2, which doubled the prizes for winners with Power-Up.

Breaker’s #117 in Dillon is getting a reputation as a lucky lottery destination. The store recently sold a winning Stacks of Cash instant ticket worth $200,000.

Approximately 97 cents of every dollar spent by players on the South Carolina Education Lottery is returned to the state in the form of funding for education, prizes, retailer commissions, and payment to contractors for goods and services.
