$100,000 Palmetto Cash 5 Ticket Sold in Ladson

COLUMBIA, SC (March 22, 2011) – Someone is holding a Palmetto Cash 5 ticket worth $100,000. The ticket was purchased from Sunoco Coop #2662 at 336 College Park Rd. in Ladson.

The Palmetto Cash 5 ticket for the Monday, March 21 drawing matched all five numbers drawn. Had the ticket holder purchased Power-Up for an additional $1, the $100,000 winnings were multiplied by “2” to $200,000.

More than 5,100 Palmetto Cash 5 players won prizes from $1 up to $100,000 in Monday night’s drawing. Of these 2,918 players spent an extra $1 to purchase the Power-Up multiplier. Monday night’s Power-Up number was 2, which doubled the prizes for winners with Power-Up.

Approximately 97 cents of every dollar spent by players on the South Carolina Education Lottery is returned to the state in the form of funding for education, prizes, retailer commissions, and payment to contractors for goods and services.
