Wallace Woman Wins $100,000 Playing Cash Frenzy
12/21/2010 11:09:48 AM

COLUMBIA, SC (December 21, 2010) – A Wallace woman braved the cold yesterday morning and set out on an 86 mile trip to Columbia. Alone in the car, she passed the time by counting her blessings. A $100,000 winning ticket in her purse kept her warm.

She told lottery officials she bought the winning Cash Frenzy instant ticket the night before on her way home from church. She scratched the ticket in the car and was immediately overcome.

“This is just a blessing from God,” she shared.

The winner, who did not want to release her name, plans to use the winnings to take care of a few expenses. She is looking forward to a nice Christmas and a new start in the New Year.

Corner Cupboard #1 in Wallace sold the winning ticket and received $1,000. Every retailer that sells a claimed ticket of $10,000 or more earns a 1 percent retailer commission, capped at $50,000.
