Greenville and Mt. Pleasant Lottery Claims Centers Closing

COLUMBIA, SC (November 9, 2010) – The South Carolina Education Lottery will be closing the Greenville and Mt. Pleasant Claims Centers effective Friday, January 14, 2011.

The decision to close the two claims centers will ultimately maximize the funds transferred to the state to support education in South Carolina.

To claim winning amounts up to and including $100,000, players can either visit the Lottery’s Columbia Claims Center or redeem their winnings by mail. For winnings that exceed $100,000, winners must come in person to the Columbia Claims Center to redeem the ticket. Prizes up to and including $500 can be redeemed at any lottery retail location.
