$1 MILLION Powerball® Ticket Sold in Little River

COLUMBIA, SC (November 8, 2010) – Someone is holding a Powerball® ticket worth $1 MILLION. The winning ticket was purchased from Vice's Smoke Shop at 1479 B Hwy. 17 in Little River.

The winning ticket for the Saturday, November 6 drawing matched all five white ball numbers drawn. The ticket holder wisely purchased PowerPlay® for an extra $1 which multiplied the $200,000 winnings multiplied to $1 MILLION.

Check your tickets. In Saturday night's drawing, more than 21,000 of the South Carolina Education Lottery's players won prizes from $3 up to $1 MILLION. Saturday night's jackpot was won in Michigan. The estimated Powerball® jackpot for Wednesday, November 10, 2010, is $20 million.

Approximately 97 cents of every dollar spent by players on the South Carolina Education Lottery is returned to the state in the form of funding for education, prizes, retailer commissions, and payment to contractors for goods and services.
