COLUMBIA, SC (October 4, 2010) – An Inman man asked for a Big Winner instant ticket, and that's exactly what he got. He won $200,000.

The player requested his name not be publicized, but he was noticeably thrilled with the win and couldn't stop smiling.

Kangaroo Express #3280 in Greer sold the winning ticket. Every retailer that sells a claimed ticket of $10,000 or more earns a 1 percent retailer commission, capped at $50,000. The retailer received $2,000.

As of the date of this release, more than $13 million in prizes remain in the $10 Big Winner game, including five top prizes of $200,000.

Approximately 97 cents of every dollar spent by players on the South Carolina Education Lottery is returned to the state in the form of funding for education, prizes, retailer commissions, and payment to contractors for goods and services.
