COLUMBIA, SC (September 23, 2010) – Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park in downtown Beaufort gets cooking with culinary creations featuring the famous crustacean for its annual Shrimp Festival on Friday and Saturday, October 1-2.
The South Carolina Education Lottery (SCEL) joins in the celebration of Lowcountry classic cuisine to make this year’s festival of live entertainment, arts and crafts, and tasty treats a rousing success.
Stop by the lottery tent and check out the complete lineup of lottery games for sale including player favorites Powerball® and Mega Millions® and the new Millionaire Raffle. For every $10 in lottery tickets purchased, a player can spin the prize wheel for exciting promotional items. Tickets will be for sale on Friday, October 1 from 6 p.m. – 10 p.m. and Saturday, October, 2 from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Approximately 97 cents of every dollar spent by players on the South Carolina Education Lottery is returned to the state in the form of contributions to education, prizes, retailer commissions, and payment to contractors for goods and services.
