9/1/2010 4:53:26 PM

COLUMBIA, SC (September 1, 2010) – “This has been a great experience!” With those words an Aiken player claimed a $200,000 prize she won on a Wild 10’s instant ticket.
The happy winner does not want to publicize her name, but she purchased her winning ticket at Mo Convenience and Tobacco Store in Aiken.
The store is a winner as well. Every retailer that sells a claimed ticket of $10,000 or more earns a 1 percent commission, capped at $50,000. Mo Convenience and Tobacco received a $2,000 retailer commission.
Wild 10’s is a $10 ticket with more than $7 million in prizes remaining, including 1 top prize of $200,000.
Approximately 97 cents of every dollar spent by players on the South Carolina Education Lottery is returned to the state in the form of contributions to education, prizes, retailer commissions, and payment to contractors for goods and services.
