SCEL Announces No Ticket Sales or Validations
on Tuesday, June 8



COLUMBIA, SC (June 1, 2010) The South Carolina Education Lottery (SCEL) has announced there will be no ticket sales or validations on Tuesday, June 8, 2010, due to the election primaries.
All lottery terminals will be off-line from 12:01 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. on June 8. South Carolina law prohibits the sale of all lottery products, both instant and online games, on statewide election days.
Lottery drawings will take place as normally scheduled.
