Good Fortune for Lottery Player Brings $200,000 Prize!

COLUMBIA, SC (January 8, 2010) – Kangaroo Express #621 in Clover is the latest lucky retailer to have sold a winning lottery ticket worth $200,000!
A Kings Mountain, North Carolina woman claimed the prize from a Fortune Cookie instant ticket. The winner does not want her name publicized.
Kangaroo Express #621 received a 1 percent selling bonus of $2,000. Every retailer that sells a claimed ticket of $10,000 or more earns a 1 percent commission. The selling incentive is capped at $50,000.
Fortune Cookie is a $10 ticket with four top prizes of $200,000 remaining in the game.
Since the Lottery’s inception in 2002, the General Assembly has appropriated more than $2.2 billion for educational purposes through fiscal year 2010.
