Record breaking $1.7 Million Jackpot Winning MegaMatch 6SM Ticket Sold in Darlington County!

WHAT: A MegaMatch 6SM ticket worth $1,790,631 was sold in Darlington County. Short Trip #6, located at 415 Boykin Ave, in Lamar sold the MegaMatch 6SM ticket matching the six numbers drawn for the largest jackpot in the game’s history. No winner has come forward. Players are encouraged to check their tickets.

WHEN: On the same line, the ticket matched all six numbers drawn in the Tuesday, July 28 drawing. The jackpot winning MegaMatch 6SM numbers were: 9 – 11 – 29 – 32 – 33 – 37.

The winning ticket can be claimed at the Columbia Claims Center located at 1309 Assembly Street in downtown Columbia.

A MegaMatch 6SM ticket costs $5 and consists of six numbers on each of three lines. Players win by matching four or more numbers on a single line and/or five or more numbers contained within all three lines for a combination win. Prizes run from $7 up to the jackpot.

Since the Lottery's inception in 2002, the General Assembly has appropriated more than $2 billion for educational purposes through fiscal year 2009. Approximately 97 cents of every dollar spent by players on the South Carolina Education Lottery is returned to the state in the form of contributions to education, prizes, retailer commissions, and payment to contractors for goods and services.
