$800,000 Unclaimed Ticket Sold in Belton
Set to Expire Soon!

WHO: Did you buy a MegaMatch 6SM ticket about six months ago? If so, look high and low, and check your ticket again. A ticket worth $800,000 remains unclaimed! But time is running out; the ticket must be claimed by the close of business on Wednesday, July 1.

WHAT: The $800,000 MegaMatch 6SM jackpot winning ticket was purchased at KMO #102 located at 4531 Highway 29 North in Belton for the January 2, 2009 drawing. The winning numbers were 4, 7, 17, 18, 25, and 28.

The $800,000 winning ticket must be claimed in person at a South Carolina Education Lottery Claims Center, located in Columbia, Greenville and Mt. Pleasant. Players should arrive before 4 p.m. to allow time for verification.

Prizes for online games must be claimed within 180 days of the draw date printed on the ticket. Prizes that are unclaimed are deposited into the Unclaimed Prize Fund, a part of the Education Lottery Account, to be appropriated by the General Assembly to supplement educational opportunities.

Since the Lottery’s inception in 2002, the General Assembly has appropriated more than $2 billion for educational purposes through fiscal year 2009. In the fiscal year ending June 30, 2008, more than 97 cents of every dollar spent by players on the South Carolina Education Lottery is returned to the state in the form of contributions to education, prizes, retailer commissions, and payment to contractors for goods and services.
