$500,000 Palmetto Cash 5 Ticket
Sold in Greenville!
Upstate Players Score Again!

WHO: Who’s holding a Palmetto Cash 5 ticket worth $500,000! The ticket was sold at The Spinx Company #140, Inc. at 3556 Pelham Road in Greenville.

WHAT: The lucky ticket matched all five numbers drawn last night. The winning numbers were
4, 10, 12, 21 and 26. The Power-Up multiplier was 5.

The player wisely paid an extra dollar to purchase the Power-Up multiplier option, which resulted in the $500,000 prize. The top prize in the Palmetto Cash 5 game is $100,000, but that prize can be multiplied up to five times, depending on the multiplier selected.

This Palmetto Cash 5 win is the latest in a streak of top prizes won. In the last week Palmetto Cash 5 top prize winners include a $100,000 win from the January 26 drawing (ticket sold in Columbia); two, $200,000 top prizes for the January 28 drawing (tickets sold in Greenville and Greenwood); and a $300,000 prize from the January 30 drawing (ticket sold in Williamston). The $200,000 Palmetto Cash 5 ticket sold at Royal 8 on 2701 Country Farm Road in Greenwood remains unclaimed.

The $500,000 winning ticket must be claimed in person at a South Carolina Education Lottery Claims Center, located in Columbia, Greenville and Mt. Pleasant. Prizes for online games must be claimed within 180 days of the draw date printed on the ticket.

Since the Lottery’s inception in 2002, the General Assembly has appropriated more than $2 billion for educational purposes through fiscal year 2009. In the fiscal year ending June 30, 2008, more than 97 cents of every dollar spent by players on the South Carolina Education Lottery is returned to the state in the form of contributions to education, prizes, retailer commissions, and payment to contractors for goods and services.
