That’s why the South Carolina Education Lottery (SCEL) is on board to celebrate the 26th Annual Oyster Festival at Boone Hall Plantation in Mount Pleasant on Sunday, January 25.
SCEL staff will offer the complete lineup of tickets for sale beginning at 10:30 a.m. Players spending a minimum of $10 in tickets will have the opportunity to spin the prize wheel loaded with promotional items.

Since the Lottery’s inception in 2002, the General Assembly has appropriated more than $2 billion for educational purposes through fiscal year 2009. In the fiscal year ending June 30, 2008, more than 97 cents of every dollar spent by players on the South Carolina Education Lottery is returned to the state in the form of contributions to education, prizes, retailer commissions, and payment to contractors for goods and services.
