COLUMBIA, SC (July 21, 2008) – The Charleston RiverDogs versus the Crawdads from Hickory isn’t the only game in town on Saturday, July 26! The South Carolina Education Lottery (SCEL) will present its full array of lottery tickets, including the complete lineup of Summer Escape SM 2008 games!
The Summer EscapeSM 2008 Promotion features Air Escape, Land Escape and Sea Escape instant tickets, all packed with travel-themed prizes and cash. SCEL staff will sell lottery tickets at the ballpark. The first pitch will be thrown out at 7:05 p.m.
A $10 lottery purchase will allow players to score promotional items by spinning the prize wheel for great T-shirts, beach towels, koozies and much more! Players in attendance can also enter a second-chance drawing for 50,000 airline miles and other prize packages held at the game. Players must be present to win the second-chance audience prizes. The RiverDogs stadium is located at 360 Fishburne Street in Charleston.
The Summer EscapeSM 2008 Promotion continues throughout the season! Non-winning Air Escape, Land Escape and Sea Escape instant tickets can be entered into a second-chance drawing for a grand prize of 500,000 airline miles, a Ford F-150® truck and a Carnival® cruise for four. Since its inception in 2002, the South Carolina Education Lottery has launched more than 280 instant games and six online games. Currently, SCEL offers 39 instant games and five online games. SCEL produces an average of four new games each month in a variety of themes, play styles, and price points of $1-$10. During the past six and a half years, the support the South Carolina Education Lottery has received from players and retailers is responsible for the General Assembly appropriating more than $2 billion for educational purposes through fiscal year 2009.
