3/11/2008 11:32:21 AM

COLUMBIA, SC (March 11, 2008) – Playing the same six Powerball® numbers twice a week paid off for a duo from Georgia. The couple, who wish to keep their names private, just claimed a $200,000 prize!

“We play the same numbers again and again,” the married pair said. “We knew we’d get lucky some day!”

Their day came on Wednesday, February 27. The winning white Powerball® numbers were 20, 24, 37, 48, and 53. The red Powerball® number was 11, and the PowerPlay® multiplier was 5. The Georgia couple matched all five white ball numbers but missed the red Powerball® number and the chance to win the $133 million jackpot! The players purchased their ticket at Gas Plus #5 in North Augusta.

“We are thankful, and we will continue to play Powerball®. We already have our tickets for the upcoming drawing,” the couple said.

How will the winners enjoy their $200,000 prize? “We’re taking care of our family, and then we’ll enjoy a nice vacation or two,” the pair said.

The estimated Powerball® jackpot for the Wednesday, March 12 drawing is $230 million!
