Winner Spartanburg’s Manuel Wright says the $900 prize he won playing Palmetto Cash 5 will come in handy. He says he used the quick pick option to choose his winning numbers. Wright purchased his ticket at Wilco Hess #912 in Spartanburg. He says the Lottery’s support of education is a good thing.
Winner Donna Golden, of Rock Hill, says she’ll share the $50,000she won playing Powerball® with her family and church. She said she used her favorite numbers when she played the game and turned white as a sheet when she realizes she had won. Golden bought her ticket at The Village Market of Rock Hill in Rock Hill.
Winner “What? Let me double check,” said Luisa Gleaton-Talley when she won $1,000 playing the Cash Bonanza Bucks ticket she bought at One Stop #2 in West Columbia. The Gaston resident says the money will really come in handy. Gleaton-Talley admits the Lottery’s support of education is helping pay her college tuition.
Winner Oh my! said Melba Carter when she won $200,000 playing Money Money Money. The Chester resident says she’ll enjoy helping her family with her prize. Carter purchased her lucky ticket at Grants Grocery in Chester.
