Blanton believes the Lottery’s support of education “gives opportunities to people that otherwise wouldn’t have a chance to further their education.”
Winner The first person Melba Carter told when she won $520 playing MegaMatch 6SM was her sister! The Chester resident will use the winnings to buy her daughter’s athletic shoes. Carter is a supporter of the Lottery and education. “Maybe one day my children will benefit,” she said. The lucky ticket was purchased from Danny Food Mart in Chester.
Winner “Thank you!” That’s what Mary Ann Arnold, of Rock Hill, screamed when she realized she won $10,004 playing Powerball®! Arnold plans on sharing her prize with her children and grandchildren. Arnold bought her lucky ticket at Little Giant Airport #6 in Rock Hill.
Winner Saluda resident Marcus Jones couldn’t believe his eyes. He told the store clerk to wake him up when his Money Maker 2 ticket revealed a $10,000 prize! Jones plans on buying a few items for himself and sharing some of his winnings with his family. He bought his lucky ticket at Monks Corner BP in Johnston. Jones believes the Lottery’s support of education is a great idea.
