Winner “Wow!” was Jefferson Triplett, of Lancaster’s, first reaction to learning he won $1,000 playing Powerball®. Triplett bought his lucky ticket at Bi-Lo #181 in Lancaster. He is still deciding how to spend his winnings.
Winner Brian Byars was in a state of shock when he told his fellow workers he won $1,000 playing Money Mania. Byars, a resident of Chester, plans to take a vacation to the beach with his winnings. The lucky ticket was bought at Bee’s Food Mart in Chester. The Lottery’s support of education is one of the reasons Byars plays. “I think it’s a great thing to help out our young people,” he said.
Winner The first person Barbara Shidner, of Gaffney, told when she won $600 playing Pick 4 was her husband. She is planning to go on a trip to New Jersey. Shidner bought her winning ticket from Moss Mini Mart in Gaffney.
Winner “I was shocked!” That’s the reaction Richard Redmon had when he won $5,000 playing Money Mania! The Greer resident is still making plans for his winnings. Redmon purchased his winning ticket at Li’l Cricket #279 in Greer.
