B.L. Beasley, of McBee, couldn’t wait to tell his wife he won $520 playing MegaMatch 6. Beasley bought his winning ticket from Seaway Exxon in McBee. He has not decided how to spend his winnings. According to Beasley, he is happy the Lottery supports education
 
The first person Sandra Hopkins, of Blackstock, told when she won $80,000 playing Bingo Doubler was her husband and family. Hopkins admits she was shocked. She purchased her lucky ticket at Sumner’s Deli & Grocery in Great Falls. She plans to use the winnings to buy a new home.
 
“Wow!” was Jefferson Triplett, of Lancaster’s, first reaction to learning he won $1,000 playing Powerball®. Triplett bought his lucky ticket at Bi-Lo #181 in Lancaster. He is still deciding how to spend his winnings.
 
Brian Byars was in a state of shock when he told his fellow workers he won $1,000 playing Money Mania. Byars, a resident of Chester, plans to take a vacation to the beach with his winnings. The lucky ticket was bought at Bee’s Food Mart in Chester. The Lottery’s support of education is one of the reasons Byars plays. “I think it’s a great thing to help out our young people,” he said.
